Leaves |
There will be scheduled curbside collection days for leaves. Place
curbside on scheduled |
|
|
day in plastic bags only. |

They will be emptied and returned. Leave bags
untied. Leaves will not be picked up if
put |

|
out in garbage cans or boxes. |
|
|
|
|
Brush |
It shall be the responsibility of the resident to call Public Works for
a brush pick-up by |
|
|
Friday of the week before scheduled pick-up day

not be over 5' in diameter. Cut into lengths no longer than 4', tied in
bundles if possible. |

Bulk Items |
It shall be the responsibility of the resident to go to the Municipal
Office building at |

801 Ocean Gate Ave. to obtain a bulk pick-up permit by Thursday of the
week before scheduled |
|
|
pick up day. Residents will receive one free
(non-transferable) permit per year, there
after a |
|
|
non-refundable fee of $10.00 per pick up will be
charged. Anything that is not normal |
|
|
household garbage, such as but not limited to furniture, carpeting,
washers, dryers, water |
|
|
heater, tubs, sinks, small amounts of homeowner made
repair debris (not to exceed 1 |
|
|
cubic yard). Items must be placed curbside for
pick-up. There is a limit of 4 large items |
|
|
per pick-up. Special handling is required on the
following items: |
|
|
freezers, refrigerators, air conditioners, car and
small truck tires without rims. |
|
|
There is a non-refundable fee
of $25.00 for each refrigerant, and a
non-refundable fee |
|
|
$5.00 for each tire. Special handling permits can be obtained at the
Municipal Office Building |
|
|
Monday - Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Special handling items are not
counted as part of the |
|
|
4 items limit. |

|

Household |
Household dry cell batteries (batteries for toys, radios, etc.) can be
dropped off at the |

or Imprisonment in the |

common jail of the County of Ocean for a period not exceeding ten(10)
days, or both, at the |
|
|
discretion of the Magistrate before whom the conviction is had." |

|

Ocean County sponsors a disposal program in the spring and fall for
residents through which |
|
|
you may dispose of household hazardous waste such as paints, thinners,
solvents, pool |
|
|
chemicals, auto products, polishes, cleaners, waste oil, used gas, etc.
Presently this the |
|
|
only legal way for you to dispose of such items. We
are NOT allowed to get rid of these |
|
|
materials for you! You can check the local
newspaper for advertisements as to when, where, |
|
|
and how this may be done. We will also post a notice in the Post

will accepted. Only noncommercial vehicles are permitted to enter
facilities. The borough |

reserves the right to limit the amount of products entering the facility
on any given day of |

|
